The poker world is dominated by men but there are some top female Canadian poker players who have taken the game by storm. These ladies have earned millions of dollars through their hard work and skills.

Evelyn Ng, born in Toronto, ON, Canada, is the 242nd player on the Canadian All Time Money List and has won slightly over $377,000 since 2010. She was once a girlfriend of Daniel Negreanu who helped her develop her style that was designed to fight aggressive players.

Xuan Liu is a top Canadian female poker player who has earned around $2 million in her career. She started playing poker while she was still a student at the University of Waterloo, as a way to pay for her tuition costs.

Initially, she played single-table tournaments and low-cost cash games at local casinos. However, her love for poker soon outweighed her studies and she began to attend more events.

She is currently 53rd on the All Time Money List. She doesn’t have a WSOP bracelet to her name, but she has accumulated multiple cash finishes in various tournaments.

She also has nine money finishes at the WSOP, as well as three on the World Poker Tour. Her latest cash prize comes from the Deepstack Championship Event #111 $400 NLH MonsterStack $60K GTD, where she won $8,733.

Isabelle Mercier

Isabelle Mercier is a top canadian female poker player who has won over US$600,000 in tournaments. She is a former Poker Stars pro and has been playing the game since she was a child.

She has a strong reputation for recognising tells and has a natural empathy that helps her’see through’ her opponents. Her ability to spot deception is one of the reasons she has been able to earn such a high prize in the game.

In addition to her poker career, Isabelle is a seasoned branding and marketing expert who brings years of experience to the table. She has worked with hundreds of solopreneurs and small business owners, as well as some influential brands like A&W, Robeez Footwear, Earls Restaurants, IMAX Corporation and HSBC Investments.

Vanessa Kade

Vanessa Kade is a top Canadian poker player who is arguably one of the most well-known names in the game. She has become a feared competitor in high-roller tournaments and has won several cashes over the past few years.

She was previously a successful video game designer before she turned to poker, and brings her analytical coder’s mind to the felt as well as to her Twitch stream. Her most recent victory came in the PokerStars Sunday Million 15th Anniversary event for $1.5 million.

Earlier this year, she made headlines for her criticism of GGPoker after they appointed Dan Bilzerian as their brand ambassador. When she took to Twitter, Bilzerian responded by calling her a “hoe.”
