The Scottish Government is consulting on free bus travel for older and disabled people. They want to ensure the longer-term sustainability of the current scheme and are looking in to different options for how to do this in the future and the population of older people increases in Scotland.
Its important for them to gather as many views as possible from different people around the country to help form their decisions on how the scheme will be continued – everyone is welcome to give views and all are valuable.
The consultation questions are mainly around eligibility criteria for the passes.
If you would like to contribute your views to the consultation, you can download the consultation paper or complete it online Scottish Government website
